New Year, New Project

Where to begin?

Let me introduce myself.

Hello, fellow perfectly imperfect human! I’m Kristin Gore. Long story short, I love yoga, and I love to teach yoga. Other things that light my soul on fire are nature, travel, and music. That’s me in a nutshell, but if you’re interested in more check out the About page.

An online “journal” has been on my to-do-list for some time now, and I suppose I have just not prioritized it into my busy schedule (sound familiar?). But as one of my favorite yoga teachers said in class recently, “If not now, when?” So…here we go.

This is intended to be somewhat of a public diary (although probably much less juicy than its private counterpart), and you can anticipate random musings, ramblings, and personal inspirations in the entries to come. Maybe its purpose is more selfish in nature. Or maybe something I have to share along the way will resonate with you. TBD on that. For now, the goal is just to put pen to page, as the saying goes, and see where it leads in the new year.

Speaking of the new year, the word I have selected for myself is EXPANSION. One might construe this (albeit, fairly) as “learning” or “growth” or “self-development”, etc. For me, it is about taking up space and living out loud, authentically and unapologetically. Building on what is already in place in both my personal and professional lives, keeping the momentum going, and trusting the process. Always choosing love over fear, with the freedom to choose again in each and every moment. And I guess by writing these words down, so it is.

Welcome to my mind and my heart. Let’s do this.
